Back to black'n'white

This is from a photo of Lake Marchant in Fiordland. Not sure of the name of the mountain. Two versions; the before-and-after applying changes suggested by my bro - cheers Maf :)

BTW, the contrast isn't quite right in patches, as the black I used is very high gloss, and so it reflects too much light to easily photograph :S
